The brand new Fire Station 15 will be located at 2318 Spring Lake Highway, at the corner of Spike Road and Spring Lake Highway. This state-of-the-art facility will enhance emergency services on the east side of Hernando County, housing one fire engine and one ambulance. To ensure optimal operations, Station 15 will be staffed by a dedicated team of 21 personnel, including 12 firefighters and 9 medics. Hernando County Fire Rescue is currently in the design and engineering phase and expects to begin construction in March, with a projected completion timeline of 12 months after construction starts. Hernando County Fire Rescue is excited to share more updates as the project progresses!
