Hernando County's newest addition to the Parks and Recreation system, a 6,003 sf. Splash Pad. Our Splash Pad has 32 features, a 5,000-gallon underground storage tank, and recirculates the water every 3 minutes. At the capacity of 174 persons, Hernando County's Splash Pad is within the top 5% of the largest municipal Splash Pads in the State of Florida.
Through partnerships and teamwork, this specific aquatic playground will be recognized as a “Gift to the Community from The Rotary Clubs of Hernando County.” Click here to view the agreement between The Rotary Clubs of Hernando County and the Hernando County Board of County Commissioners.

Groundbreaking Ceremony for the Rotary Splash Park at Anderson Snow Park
Hernando County Government and Hernando County Parks and Recreation hosted a groundbreaking ceremony for the Rotary Splash Park at Anderson Snow Park at 9am on Monday, June 17, 2024. The groundbreaking ceremony was on site at the location of where the brand new pirate themed splash park will be installed at 1360 Anderson Snow Rd., Spring Hill, FL 34609.
Anderson Snow Park will remain open to the public during construction. This project is anticipated to be completed late spring of 2025. The public will be notified when a ribbon cutting and grand opening has been scheduled after the installation of the splash park has finished.
