Groundbreaking Ceremony for the Rotary Splash Park at Anderson Snow Park
Hernando County Government Breaks Ground to Commence Construction
(Brooksville, FL) – Hernando County Government and Hernando County Parks and Recreation is hosting a groundbreaking ceremony for the Rotary Splash Park at Anderson Snow Park at 9am on Monday, June 17, 2024. The groundbreaking ceremony will be on site at the location of where the brand new pirate themed splash park will be installed at 1360 Anderson Snow Rd., Spring Hill, FL 34609.
“This very much anticipated amenity is a great addition to Hernando County,” stated Jeffrey Rogers, Hernando County Administrator. “As the county grows, it is wonderful to provide the community with a 6,000 sq. ft. splash park right here in Hernando. We are excited to be able to provide a location for families to bring their children to play and cool off during these hot summer months without having to travel out of county. Through the partnership with the Rotary Clubs in Hernando County, the county will be able to bring the Rotary Splash Park to fruition.”
Anderson Snow Park will remain open to the public during construction. This project is anticipated to be completed late spring of 2025. The public will be notified when a ribbon cutting and grand opening has been scheduled after the installation of the splash park has finished.
This groundbreaking ceremony is open to the public. For questions or more information, please contact Hernando County Parks and Recreation at (352) 754-4031.
